Description of Position:

Extensive object oriented Java programmer to work with software designers, quality assurance, middleware engineers, & senior management to develop new system features while maintaining current system & industry requirements. Assist in project mgmt enhancements of system; research, design & develop system s/w or firmware in conjunction with NAMB hardware product development. Coordinates the testing scripts, documentation, and deployment schedule with the QA, Training and Documentation departments. Meets difficult technical challenges and tight deadlines. Troubleshoots and diagnoses client issues and resolve in efficient and timely manner. Determines or coordinates purchasing requirements for programs or enhancements. Contacts customers, as necessary, to attain feedback of stability and reliability of systems software. Creates and maintains solid customer relations and feedback.

Required Skills BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from a four-year college or university

One to three years or more experience as object oriented programmer.

Must have a high degree of knowledge and understanding of computer systems, Java, C++, C, JDBC, Oracle, or other RDBMS, SQL Plus, networking; Unix and Linux experience.
