The November 2006 midterm election was an exciting step forward for progressives; but much work remains. If we want to combat global warming, increase access to higher education, provide healthcare for all Americans, end corruption in Washington, and change course in Iraq, we must expand our majorities in Congress and take back the White House!
Grassroots Campaigns, Inc. is hiring Field Organizers and Leadership Staff to work on our Progressive Voter Network to build local networks of concerned volunteers and voters in targeted Congressional districts in Presidential swing states. The volunteers in each network will hone their skills between elections by working on progressive issue campaigns. These networks of seasoned volunteers will be the leaders in a cutting edge voter drive to take back the White House in 2008!
Here in Nevada, we are currently focused on global warming and our national energy policy. Global warming is happening - even if some of our elected leaders refuse to admit it or do anything about it. We need leaders in DC to advocate common sense solutions to this and other problems. We are starting from the ground up and we are starting now—first by building a network of trained volunteers that can advance global warming solutions and then by using that network to take back the White House and increase our majorities in Congress and the Senate. We’ll then stay on the ground after ’08 to ensure positive change takes place and start building for the 2010 elections.
We are hiring both entry-level and experienced/leadership staff.
We need organizers in Nevada based out of Las Vegas.
