Content Developer/Technical Writer



The Mosaic Company is looking for dynamic, experienced, and creative problem solvers to join a team that develops and delivers interactive, customized, e-learning solutions. We work very closely with our clients - we analyze their specific business needs, their corporate culture, and their infrastructure. Then we look at performance gaps before the design and development of a performance-improving solution.

We’re looking for an experienced Content Developer/Technical Writer who can create user documentation and training materials for either instructor-led training (ILT) or Web-based training (WBT). We want you to be able to create storyboards for animation, write assessments, or create role-play scenarios. If you can design course outlines, develop content by working with subject-matter experts and existing documentation, we want to talk with you.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Understand target audiences to assess needs and design course curriculums.

• Develop content for the e-learning process and design methodology.

• Effectively collaborate with subject matter experts, technical staff, project teams and trainers to incorporate topical information into a final product.

• Meet deadlines while working independently or in a team environment.

• Develop clear, precise, and elegant technical documentation for the various audiences that use and develop our product suite.

• Write highly technical original documentation, including SDKs, APIs, system integration guides, white papers, and technical marketing materials, frequently starting from scratch.

• Step outside role to wear different hats when needed.



Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or Computer Science desired.

• Demonstrated 3-5 years experience with developing training-related content.

• Experience working on Enterprise Application Implementations.



Please be prepared to provide a portfolio with writing samples in hardcopy or electronic formats. Your portfolio must demonstrate ability to organize information appropriately and exemplify consistency in writing style.
